Right now i have a Hobart Tig Wave 250 in the shop so its not like i need another welder but from time to time i have some big jobs in the shop were a Mig would be a whole lot faster to use than the Tig. I have until Saturday to make up my mind if i want to buy it or not other wise he is going to offer it for sale to some other guys he knows. I would still like to get some in put from someone that has run one so i can find out how they liked it and if they had any problems. You ask me why is he selling it, the short story is, him and his wife are getting a divorce so he is losing his house so he has no place to keep his toys and from what he told me he has to split all the money he gets from everything he sells so this is his way of screwing his wife. So i figure the total out lay of cash to get it running should be around 6 to 700 bucks, not to bad if its a good welder. Oh ya it also has no tips, liners, wire or plug on the end of the power cord so all of that stuff would have to be bought to get it up and running but other than that its ready to weld. ![]() The asking price for the welder is 300 bucks (from what he told me the welder is about 10 to 12 years old so the price seems fair) but it does not come with a bottle or gas regulator.
